The Santa Ynez Wildland Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to the conservation, stewardship, and protection of our community. Founded by local residents who are passionate about preserving the region’s natural beauty and ecological health, we focus on sustainable land management practices, wildfire prevention and protection in the wildland urban interface, and habitat restoration. Through education, collaboration, and hands-on projects, we work to protect these vital landscapes for the benefit of current and future generations. Our mission is driven by a deep respect for the land and a shared responsibility to ensure its resilience in the face of many challenges.
